Bridges of the Mind Psychological Services, Inc., is dedicated to the future training of psychologists and therapists. We believe that by training future clinicians we will increase and broaden the knowledge base of clinical assessment for our neurodiverse populations. We began training post-doctoral residents in 2019 and continued this training to offering practicum and pre-doctoral students training since 2021.

Bridges of the Mind Psychological Services, Inc., is striving to become a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) Post-Doctoral residency program. Our residency offers training opportunities with clinical staff in assessment and therapy. The goal of the residency is to provide training opportunities to transform new graduates into license-eligible candidates who will be well prepared to become fully functioning independent practitioners. Residents will gain experience in the practical business side of working with patient populations seeking services in an outpatient private practice setting.
Bridges of the Mind Psychological Services, Inc., is an outpatient clinic that specializes in training residents to conduct psychological services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Bridges of the Mind Psychological Services, Inc., offers excellent training with client populations that vary in terms of age, type of pathology, socio-economic status, and cultural background. The resident will be exposed to clinical assessments, groups, and therapy within these populations.
We teach a variety of assessment techniques and treatment strategies to meet the needs of our clients and their families. Residents will also have the opportunity to mentor pre-doctoral interns and practicum students in their professional development and to participate in didactic classes and group seminars.
