The Assessment Journey

Step 1

Contact us to schedule an appointment.

We know timely assessments are important, so we work to schedule an assessment date that works with your schedule, ensuring you get prompt access to our services.

Step 2

Intake Session (Approximately 1 Hour)

The intake session lasts about an hour and involves a conversation to understand presenting challenges and personal strengths. Depending on the client’s age, this session may include the patient and parents or caregivers to gather valuable information about the client’s history.

Step 3

Testing Phase (Approximately 2+ Hours)

The testing phase lasts about two hours and includes a cognitive assessment to evaluate intellectual processes and abilities. Additional tests, often play-based, are selected based on specific concerns. For some presenting questions, a second testing appointment may be necessary.

Step 4

Feedback, Recommendations, and Resources

After the assessment, clients receive prompt feedback and preliminary findings. Sometimes, we may need more time to gather additional information. We are committed to delivering a comprehensive report within two weeks, which includes the assessment results and personalized recommendations to connect you to the right support services.

Pricing

We provide a thorough evaluation, personalized report, and tailored recommendation to meet your needs. Our prices vary between $7,000 and $15,000 for each evaluation. The cost depends on how detailed the check-up is, where it’s done, and how old the person is.

California Assessments within 100 miles of Sacramento:

Ages 0 to 5: $8,000
Ages 6 to 17: $10,000
Ages 17+: $12,000

California Assessments greater than 101 miles of Sacramento:

Ages 0 to 5: $10,000
Ages 6 to 17: $12,000
Ages 17+: $15,000

Nevada Assessments:

Ages 0 to 5: $10,000
Ages 6 to 17: $12,000
Ages 17+: $15,000

**A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the fee is due upon scheduling due to complexities of travel schedules and scheduling these highly specialized assessments**
