ADOS-2 Introductory & Refresher Training

This workshop is designed for many types of professionals — speech-language pathologists, physicians, psychologists, and occupational therapists — with prior background in autism and formal testing, to learn the basic principles of administering and coding the ADOS-2 Toddler module and Modules 1–4.

Training provides an essential step toward competence in using the ADOS-2 in everyday clinical practice.

Target Lecture Level: Beginner/Introductory Target Audience Level: Psychologists, Psychiatrists, MFT/LCSW/LEP, General Public/Other

Is this training for you?
By the end of this training, you’ll be able to:

  • Recognize at least 5 characteristics of autism – Identify at least 3 key components that belong in a comprehensive autism diagnostic evaluation across the lifespan
  • Know the 2 criteria that guide which ADOS-2 module to select for an individual
  • Understand at least 2 practical uses and 2 limitations of the ADOS-2 as an assessment tool
  • Walk away with 3 clear next steps for building the skills needed to administer and code ADOS-2 Modules 1–4 and the Toddler Module
