INTEREST LISTS FORMING:
Anxiety Groups
For participants with clinically elevated levels of anxiety that impact their functioning (per intake interview). Girls group, Boys group, and Co-ed groups forming. All groups will be separated out by age.
Goal: To help participants realize that through cognitive and behavioral strategies they can take control on their anxiety.
Content/curriculum:
Session #1: Introductions/What is Anxiety?
Session #2: Identifying and Labeling Emotions
Session #3: Negative Thinking/Cognitive Triangle
Session #4: Mindfulness
Session #5: Problem Solving
Session #6: Exposure Activity/COVID-19
Session #7: Empathy/Making Friends
Session #8: Graduation
Cost: $100 intake interview, $65 per weekly session.
Length: 1 intake interview, 8 sessions, 1 hour per week

Group for Parenting
Children with Invisible
Disabilities
This group is for parenting children with invisible disabilities will help you to:
Connect with other parents
Gain Support
Learn important information regarding resources and opportunities
Learn helpful parenting tips
In this time of COVID, it is exponentially harder to cope at home with limited options outside of the home and little respite. Special Ideas for this difficult time will be a focus of each group.
Information provided will be tailored to the individual group members needs
Groups will meet virtually via Google Meet, with weekly 1-hour sessions.
Cost – $100 Intake and $50 per session (per household)
Communication and Social Skills Group
for Adults
The Communication and Social Skills Group for Adults can help you learn these important skills so that you can feel comfortable and ready to deal with any social situation. Each group will focus on different skills and situations where you can learn and practice scenarios.

Feeling comfortable in small groups
Dealing with larger groups in less and more formal settings
Dating
Job interview
Talking with coworkers
Gaining deeper connections with friends
Group meets in-person at our West Sacramento office, following all current CDC guidance. 1.5-hour sessions every week.

Social Skills Groups
FOR CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER,
ADHD, OR SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER
Goals
Identifying emotions/nonverbal cues
Turn-taking/cooperative play
Promoting language development
Showing empathy/being a good friend
Sharing the space/conversation rules
Stress management
Perspective taking
